Skellig Islands ( 0-6, 6-18, 18+)
The Skellig islands lie 12km off the coast and the majestic and dramatic Skellig Michael bursts 218 meters above sea level. On Skellig Michael, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will find a remote monastery dated from the 6th Century and despite the exposed seascape the monks remained on the Island until the 13th Century. Part of the wonder of Skellig Michael for visitors is the ability to follow in the time-worn footsteps of the monks on Skellig Michael dating almost 1,500 years old.
Aptly described by playwright Bernard Shaw as “a part of our dream world” it is easy to understand the allure of these islands for the filmmakers behind Star Wars, and for monks and pilgrims for over a thousand years. The islands are also world famous as JJ Abrahams, Daisy Ridley and Mark Hamill filmed Star Wars movies The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi on Skellig Michael, with the cast and crew spending time in nearby Portmagee as scenes were filmed in Kerry.
The Skellig Experience Visitor Centre is a must visit attraction while visiting the area, and the islands themselves are a Wild Atlantic Way Discovery Point.

The Aqua Dome is one of Irelands Largest Indoor Waterworld’s & Premier Tourist Attractions located on the Wild Atlantic Way. The Playdium Tralee, Co. Kerry (0-6, 6-18)
The Playdium is the newest addition to Co. Kerry’s family and child friendly all weather facilities. The Playdium is the largest and most modern facility of its kind in the county and is at least on par with anything operating on the Island of Ireland today. Kerry – Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium (0-6, 6-18, 18+)
Oceanworld Aquarium is located in Dingle, County Kerry and is Ireland’s largest aquarium.

Crag Cave, Castleisland (0-6, 6-18, 18+)
Discovered in 1983 and thought to be over 1 million years old Crag Cave is a magical wonderland of stalagmites and stalactites. It is an all weather visitor attraction located in Castleisland Co. Kerry 2 km off the N21.Crag Cave is an ancient fossil cave system, older than mankind itself, within which can be seen the natural forces that created the complex and beautiful passages – a must see!

Skelligs Chocolate is Ireland’s only fully ‘open plan’ chocolate production kitchen where you can get up close and see your chocolatey treats being made in front of you.
